Test page for Lucy
Lucy, I'm creating the links and pages here for areas that you might be able to write about. After you've written content for them, we can take a look at it, then post links to your pages in the wiki. I'll try my best to be on IM or email on Friday... it's all at the mercy of the conference location. I should be able to get some access to my email over my phone, though....

- Training checklist (I'm imagining a list of some sort covering the basic things we went over on 9/5... it's okay if you forget something!)
- Technology guide (Something explaining Blackboard, the listserv, the wiki, and the blog and discussing how each of them work)
- Glossary (This is something that I can see growing over time. You could start this with "microfiche," "microfilm," "ultrafiche," etc.)
- GMT FAQs (This is also something that I can see growing over time. Questions could include things like "What do I do when I know I can't come to work." If you can think of some questions w/o answers, go ahead and post them and I can add the answers later. This could be one where you have lots of room to play with formatting.)
- The Fourth Floor (Here you could give a brief intro to periodicals, govdocs, microtext, and reference based on information from the zsr.wfu.edu website. You could also mention that over summer 2008 we'll move periodicals over to reference and combine the departments, and over summer 2009 we'll move microtext to govdocs and combine the departments.)
- Ultrafiche (An explanation of LAC/LEL, that they're smaller, that the extra lens is in my office and how to get it. Could also point out that when a copy is freely available online, can be found here: http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1849.xml )
- And, of course, if you come up with other ideas, feel free to add them here.
Let me know if you have questions!!
