Task log
Both student desks have task logs. In government documents, it's a paper notebook. In Microtext, it's a WordPress blog The task log is what you'd expect: it contains tasks to be done and a log of who did what.
What is this? [edit]
We use a task log so that we can:
- follow up and make sure all the tasks get done
- follow up with folks who work evenings or weekends to make sure machine problems are fixed and missing material can be resolved
Please view your job as two parts: [edit]
- helping patrons
- completing a task sheet each time you are here
General guidelines for the task sheets [edit]
You need to complete one task for each hour that you work here. When you finish the task, fill in a section of the task sheet in the notebook or post an entry to the WordPress blog.
