Layout of the govdocs room
Government Documents includes the main room as well as the part of the stacks on the fourth floor closest to the main room.
When sitting at the desk the Government Documents reference books and CDs are behind you. North Carolina documents and Census data are on the shelves to your left. Federal documents are in call number order starting in the stacks to the far left, all the way down the hall, and back into the Government Documents room on the right. Maps are located in the large cabinet to the far right of the desk.
The computer in front of the desk is for general use. Students will sometimes unplug the Ethernet. There is a photocopier next to Mary Lib’s desk and in the hallway by the elevator. The Pharos print station is located across the room in front of you, just as you exit the room.
